Field Researcher to be located in Sevilla, Spain

For the Iberian organization, in Crop Protection R&D, we are looking for a Field Researcher to be located in Sevilla, Spain.

The primary purpose of this job is to conduct the field work program defined for his/her region.

Primary Responsibilities:

•         Generating field trials protocols for Spain development projects.
•         Selecting suitable field sites and conducting field trials according to highest international standards.
•         Assessing field trials and data processing including statistics and trial reports.
•         Preparing data summaries and presentations for internal meetings as well as for publications

 QUALIFICATIONS
- Agronomist / Masters or PhD in Weed Science / Plant Pathologist / Entomologist.
- Experience with Field R&D Activities at least in one of these disciplines (field trials conduction, research project management).
Knowledge/Experience in key crops for the region such as rice, cereals, olives, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of field trial work technology and knowledge of trial data management and data processing (statistics).
- Physical/medical fitness to spray plant protection products for experimental purposes outdoor and under sub-optimal weather conditions.
- English command and computer skills and willingness for team work and for a potential move to the working area, travelling and work in an international environment.
- Capability to deal with seasonal work peaks during application and harvest.
- In addition to showing interest for sciences and innovation, you must have the capacity to work in team and be able to demonstrate excellence in communication
- Flexibility and dynamism are essential assets to join our company with international dimension.
